Hi Jonas,
thanks for your help. Unfortunately we will only travel through the highlands. So I think Reykjavik is not in our plan.
Our plan this year is the following:
Seydisfjördur
F910 to Snaefell
F910 to Askja
to Myvatn and the Lofthellir
F26 Sprengisandur
Landmannalaugar
Porsmörk
after that horror trip
we feel free of what is comming next...
Jonas, could you give me the actual price of petrol fuel ?
We have to calculate some prices...
Last time I was afraid of our food. I saw that we are allowed to take 2kg of food with us. Do you have any knowledge about too much food?
I accept that milk, meat and cheese and so on is forbidden, but I like my bread and pasta... and sorry, the food is cheaper in germany.
Any other ideas or tips?
Thanks and regards, Kolja

Hi everyone,
about the fuel prices...
I saw a lot of (private?) small fuelstations in the highland. Are these private fuel stations ? And are the prices higher ?
HA some time left to arrange a good Mog to come over... On the 12.08 we will start
regards, Kolja

Hi Kolja,
there are stations in Hveravellir, Adalbol (south of Bru) and Husafell,
but changes are possible. Versalir station is closed!
Try to save gas or diesel for about 150 km (about 1,5 x gas/100km) to get back from the highland.
U will find a station at start or end of a highland track like sprengisandur, kjölur or kaldidalur.
regards
Markus
